Visitor Management System (VMS) is a licensed application that helps to manage, track, and monitor visitors in your organization. It includes Registration, Notification, Screening, Security Check, and Authentication of visitors before allowing them in the company premises.

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisites to use the Visitor Management System.

To create Visits, it is necessary to configure the settings for the VMS and define the company’s structure in terms of its location.

NOTE Only an Administrator can configure the settings. Refer to the Administrator section to read about Configuration.

Receptionist(s) should be defined as a System User from the User Menu >> System >> System Users section.
Security personnel(s) should be defined as a User from the User Menu >> System >> System Users section.
Employee(s) should be specified as Host from the Employees >> Add/Edit Employee >> Account Details section.
